15:22What is lead scoring?
Lead scoring gives every new lead a score based on how likely they are to buy and how well they fit. High scores get a call right away. Low scores go into a slower follow-up. Rob builds scoring engines like this for clients, for both new leads and old lists, so the follow-up runs on its own.
Why don't form answers work?
A normal form asks about budget, timeline and needs. People guess, round up or say what they think you want to hear. Score those answers and you're scoring guesses. That's why so many "qualified" leads never buy.
How does behavior-based scoring work?
Here's the flow Rob builds in the video:
- Capture the lead. The visitor fills out a short form with name, phone and email, for example on a landing page your ads send people to.
- They watch short videos. You pick the videos. The goal is for them to watch about 80% of each one. Serious people finish.
- They answer questions about each video. AI writes three questions from each video's transcript.
- Each question maps to what matters. How they handle money, how they make decisions, how they use their time, and whether they'll respect your process.
- AI scores and routes them. Low scores go to a page or offer that fits them better. Middle scores get a smaller offer. High scores go straight to your booking page.
What can a business learn from this?
One question in the demo asks, "When a client mentions being on a budget, how do you typically handle it?" The answer shows how that person thinks about money. A few questions like that tell you more in five minutes than a form ever could.
Who is behavior scoring for?
It fits businesses that get more leads than they have time to call: high-ticket services, coaches, agencies and professional firms. Your ads bring the volume. Scoring tells your team where to spend their time.
Where should you start?
Before you score leads, make sure you know where every lead comes from and what happens to it. That's what our lead tracking service sets up first. Then add scoring on top.
Scoring also pairs well with an AI chatbot that asks visitors questions, or a free tool that works as a lead magnet, since both show you how people behave, not just what they type.
Common questions
What is AI lead scoring?
It's a system that gives each lead a score based on how likely they are to buy, using AI to read their answers and behavior, then sends each lead to the right next step.
Is behavior scoring better than form scoring?
It's harder to fake. Watching most of a video and answering questions about it shows real interest. Form answers are often guesses.
What videos should I use?
Short videos that show how a buyer thinks, ideally your own. Any video works as long as you can pull its transcript so AI can write questions about it.
Can lead scoring work on old leads?
Yes. Rob builds scoring engines for both new leads and old lists, so you can find the best people already sitting in your CRM.
